City Angkor Boutique in Siem Reap has a prime location right next to Pub Street and the Old Market. I loved being able to walk to various eateries within minutes. The reception staff greeted me warmly and provided a refreshing welcome drink upon arrival. The Superior Double Room I stayed in was very clean, with thoughtful touches like robes and slippers that made it feel cozy. I enjoyed relaxing on the lovely balcony, watching the bustling street life below. The hotel even arranged a reliable pickup from the bus station, which eased my first-time visit greatly. However, the shower water was lukewarm at times, which was a bit uncomfortable, especially for showering at the end of a long day. Breakfast options also lacked variety, falling short of my expectations. Still, the positives far outweighed the negatives, making it a solid base for exploring Siem Reap.
